Shipping & Payments

Welcome to Townsville Kart Centre (TKC). This page explains how we handle shipping, pickups, payments, and subscriptions so you always know what to expect.

Where we ship

• Australia-wide from Townsville, QLD.
• International: Not offered by default — contact us for a custom quote.

Pickups (by appointment/confirmation)

• Click & Collect (Free) — by appointment only.
  After you place an order and select Click & Collect, we’ll contact you to confirm a pickup time and provide the pickup location. Bring photo ID and your order number.
• Track-side Pickup (Free) — subject to event confirmation.
  Choose “Track-side Pickup” at checkout when it’s shown for listed events. We’ll confirm availability for Townsville club days / nominated meetings and share pickup details.

Shipping calculation & charges (AUD)

• Shipping is calculated at checkout and added to your order before payment.
• Rates are based on destination, total weight/volume, and service speed (Standard/Express where supported).
• Bulky/Oversize items (e.g., tyre sets, rims, axles): if the carrier’s final charge differs materially after packing, we’ll email a revised shipping charge for approval or offer Click & Collect / Track-side Pickup. We won’t charge extra without your approval.
• Remote & limited-access areas may attract courier surcharges — we’ll notify you before dispatch if that applies.
• Any free-shipping promotions will appear at checkout when eligible.

Order processing & delivery

• Orders placed by 12:00 pm AEST ship same business day; otherwise next business day.
• Typical delivery after dispatch: QLD 1–3 business days, NSW/VIC/SA 2–5, WA/TAS/NT 5–8 (carrier dependent).
• Bulky freight: add 1 business day for handling.
• Tracking details are sent by email/SMS when your order leaves us.

Payments

• We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Amex via Lightspeed Payments.
• All prices are AUD and GST-inclusive (ABN below).
• Other options (by arrangement): Bank transfer or Cash at pickup (appointment required).

Subscriptions (Programs & Coaching)

• Billed monthly to your saved card via Lightspeed Payments.
• Cancellation (Month-to-Month): cancel any time with 30 days’ notice (current billing month runs to end).
• Prepaid 6/12-Month Plans: discounted; non-refundable; one-time transfer to another driver permitted.
• Event Ops Fee: $15 per race day is charged in-person at the event (not included in subscription).
• Premium events (AKC/State Cup) are billed at casual rates unless your plan explicitly includes them.
• Note: some digital wallets may not be available for subscription checkout; card payments are supported.
